Get as many tennis certificates as possible, PTR and USPTA are probably the best options in the tennis industry.

Emil Vassilev is serving as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Bethune-Cookman tennis program this season.

Vassilev was a four-year letterman for the Wildcats, leading the team to three Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference semifinals appearances. He played No. 1 singles his freshman and sophomore years.

He was named to the MEAC All-Academic team three times and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2010. Vassilev has also served an internship at Oceanside Tennis Academy.

He is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Transformative Leadership at B-CU.


Bethune-Cookman University is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is a Division 1 institution and our tennis teams compete against some of the best schools on the East Coast of the United States.
