Beaconsfield vs Narre Warren in Cricket Winter Competition

For all you die hard cricket fans there is no need to wait for the warmer weather to get your cricket fix. On Saturday 3 May 2014, Beaconsfield in their inaugural game of the Winter Cricket competition faced off against Narre Warren Cricket.

The game was played at the Akoonah Park oval, and the weather was a bit of a mixed bag. Luckily the skies stayed clear enough for the game to get a result.

While Narre Warren were the victors on the day, the big winner was the sport of cricket. Even though the weather was a bit cooler than the players would normally expect, a great day was had by all.

Beaconsfiled batted first and made 85 runs, but Narre Warren managed to reach the total with 3 wickets in hand.
